As a Walgreens Balance Rewards member you will receive a special birthday promotion.

You normally receive 10 points per $1 spent. 1000 points = $1 top redeem in your local Walgreens.

The birthday offer is 10 times everyday points for the month of your birthday.

So you will receive 100 (10 x 10) points per dollar spent.

Therefore, if you spend $10 you’ll get 1000 points, or a $1 of FREE merchandise!  The more you spend, the more you get FREE for your birthday!

  • After 2 uses, the coupon no longer worked. Not, only that the manager took it from me and tore it up.

  • Happened to me as well. The coupon is misleading. If you can only use once during the month say that please.

  • Gave 10xcoupon to clerk she said would apply to all purchases in bday month. Clerk took coupon, but purchases are record the points, not working as clerk stated.

  • Same issue used it twice and now it says already redeemed and can't use it anymore?? It clearly says for the whole month of your birthday that's how the point are supposed to build up. Come on walgreens get it together.

  • Same here.. they scanned it for the first time of me using it. Then they took it and didn't give it back to me. It clearly states throughout the month of your birthday. Even the lady who checked me the night of recieving it told me to bring it in and to use it through July that it will come in handy. With the 10% off. I know to contact walgreens, just letting people know it's still going on till this day.

  • So, only have the coupon scanned once. (at the begging of the month) and DO NOT scan with other coupons during that purchase (manufactuer coupons are fine, just not walgreens extra reward point coupons) going forward, the extra points will aply automatically to all FUTURE purchases for the month. DO NOT have it scanned more than once... Worked great for me!
