Discounted gift cards will disqualify your purchase from receiving your money back. I found out the hard way. There are a lot of rules to the program because they want a reason NOT to give your money back. Become familiar with the Office Depot Rewards program and its pretty good. However, messing up once or twice sets you back pretty far. I've earned as much as $400, a.k.a. a free laptop computer, OR a.k.a. a lot of free stuff with the purchase of a laptop (depending on how you want to look at it). Note, this is not a free-after-rebate program. Once you've spent the money, the money is gone. You get "store credit" with a limited time to use it.
