Registered member pets will receive a FREE Treat for their birthday or adoption date.
Be sure to register your pet’s birth date or adoption date after you register. If you don’t know your pet’s exact birth date, no problem – a best guess is always fine! You will be able to enter the date in the pet profile which is located in the MY PROFILE menu.
You are able to register dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles and other small animals and amphibians.
Dogs will receive a coupon valid for 1 lb of FREE Dog Treats for their Treat Bar! In addition, you will receive a coupon code for 10% off an online purchase.
Other animals will receive similar appropriate treat for the FREE BDay Treat!

My dog Lilly (Lillian Gish) turned 3 yrs. old today on Feb 25th. I went to Petco to get an extra present for her since my not-so-smart husband left her present on the kitchen floor yesterday. Yep, she snooped into the bag and dug out her present among the groceries on top of the bag. Within 20 min. I happened to glance down at her extremely happy attitude. Needles to say, I was disappointed I didn’t get the chance to wrap it up for her, plus she found it 1 day before her B.D.! She demolished it in minuets. Thanks!

I have two pet profiles for each of my Bearded Dragons. Both had birthdays in October and November and neither received Birthday gifts from pals rewards. One birthday was October 4th 2018 and the other November 5th 2017.

Very disappointed that my dog Brandy have not gotten a Birthday Card or treat from Petco for at several years I sill get her science diet food and I sent feed in my shopping experience there

Petco free treats on dogs birthday are no longer a thing. I checked in store and in petcos online chat box and both said we have no clue what that is, we don’t honor any such thing, so either they lied to me or someone has wrong info
They no longer do the free treats. Emailed them confused that I didn’t receive the promo code this month and was told 2022 was the last year they were going to honor it and December 2021 was the last month they promoted it.
