Hello I had a lumpectomy in October and just started radiation. I’m have to continue to work throughout this because I owe so much. So stressful at this time of the year.
I was called back for a repeat mammogram in late August, had a lumpectomy in September, I already told my surgeon that if my biopsy was indeed malignant, I was going all the way and having a bilateral mastectomy. Of course it was as we suspected a malignant tumor. I am currently a 48 year old single mother with no breasts until reconstruction can be done, only heaven knows when sometime this year. Cancer has to be eradicated!
I just had my lumpectomy, cant start my treatment due to issues with the medication. To make matters worst I got a infection in my mouth and had to have a tooth pulled. Not the best year yet… Overwhelmed, stressed with medical bills 🙁
I had breast cancer & will be 2 yrs cancer free in Dec. 20`8, Looking for info jon breast cancer craft products & general information/

Does anyone know of a free or very cheap place to get the mastectomy shirts that hold the drain tubes? I am having my mastectomy sept 12. I’m having a bilateral one. And on a fixed budget.

The core of our mission is to assist as many women– an underserved demographic – as we can, through our Free Wig Program. AAW’s goal was to give others hope and make them feel beautiful and whole. The program offers a supportive hand during an already troubling time. Our wish is that our recipients hear the words “you are cancer free” from their doctors and continue on their life journey.Accepting applications NOW!! Our program is scheduled to launch April 2020. Supplies are limited and distribution is on a first-come-first serve basis.
